Our Ipads help us with our projects in 4th class

Here, in 4th class, we love using our school Ipads and laptops to research whatever project we are working on. At the moment we are doing individual projects on women who have inspired us. We have also done projects on Ireland's native birds, Italy, Inspiring Men, Chinese New Year, Iceland, Dragons' Den and many more,using our Ipads and laptops.

Ms Giblin has shown us how to use safe search engines and websites like Kiddle, World Book Online and DK Findout. This helps us to be responsible web citizens!

World Book Day5th

For world book day we all dressed uo in our favourite book characters. We then used a green screen to get the backgrounds for our characters. Have  a look at the video below to find out more.

We used computers to type out our work, Mrs Treacy also  showed us how to center, change font, font size, save and print our work.

Tráth na gCeist 2019 (Rang a Cúig agus a Sé )

Seachtain na Gaeilge atá ann. Bhi Tráth na gCeist againn i rang a cúig agus rang a sé. Bhí na ceisteanna ar an gclár bán. Bhí an spóirt againn.
We completed our Seachtain na Gaeilge quiz online on Kahoot. It wasgreat fun and asuper experience to use technology in a different way.
